Ashlene Karasch, CPNP, is a dedicated and compassionate certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Bloom Pediatrics in Fort Mill, South Carolina.
With more than a decade of experience in nursing and a strong academic foundation, Ashlene is committed to providing high-quality, family-centered care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Ashlene earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, completing the program between 2014 and 2016. She holds board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and brings advanced clinical training focused on preventive care, childhood development, and the management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions. She began her nursing career after earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing through Jacksonville University’s Accelerated Second Degree Program in Jacksonville, Florida, completed in 2011, and has been practicing as a nurse continuously since that time.
Prior to entering the nursing profession, Ashlene earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating magna cum laude. She also served as a police officer for the Honolulu Police Department for four years.
Known for her warm demeanor and attentive listening, Ashlene partners closely with parents and caregivers to ensure each child receives personalized, evidence-based care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Ashlene’s life journey has taken her around the world, including time living in Ireland, Australia, Hawaii, Maryland, Seattle, and Florida. These experiences have shaped her deep appreciation for travel, cultural diversity, and seeing the world through many perspectives.
Ashlene is married to her husband, Chris, and together they are raising six children—five girls and one boy. She enjoys exploring new places, immersing herself in different cultures, and creating meaningful, lasting experiences for her family.
