April Ansley, FNP-C, is a compassionate and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner dedicated to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based care to children and families. With a strong clinical background and a calm, reassuring presence, she is committed to supporting patients through every stage of growth and development while partnering closely with parents to promote lifelong health and wellness.

April earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Frontier Nursing University in September 2024 and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, Kentucky, which she is expected to complete in June 2026. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in December 2021 and her Associate of Science in Nursing at Excelsior College in April 2020. Prior to entering nursing, she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of South Carolina in 2004, providing a strong scientific foundation that informs her clinical practice.

Since 2020, April has gained valuable experience working as a registered nurse in a variety of high-acuity and family-centered settings, including emergency medicine, pediatric emergency care, and labor and delivery, recovery, and postpartum units. This diverse background allows her to provide well-rounded, thoughtful care tailored to each child’s unique needs.

April is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and is passionate about building trusting relationships with families while delivering high-quality pediatric primary care in a supportive and welcoming environment.
